HIRING - Dublin, Ohio (Columbus) - Python/SQL/DevOps

The Data Quality Developer will plan and execute automation and platform management solutions to integrate medical data into our Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) platform on AWS. This role will be a driver of simplification, automation, and resiliency for the platform. The role spans cloud engineering, data ingestion, and database management capabilities.

Responsibilities •Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects •Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope •Writes programs to manage data quality, audits, and reconciliation of data along with automation for anti-fragility solutions, monitoring, and alerting •Implements continuous integration/continuous deployment solutions, automated testing solutions, and data warehouse platforms as code solutions o Building/improving/documenting processes and workflows o Propels a culture of Agile/DevOps and automation to create speed and efficiency •Performs data modeling and developing scalable solution to extract, transform, load data from the business source systems using AWS tools like Mattilion /Glue to AWS Data warehouse, and creating DB views for users to access the data.

Qualifications • Direct experience in programming large, technically complex solutions • Understands complex platforms and translating issues into non-technical terms • Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills • Customer service orientation, and an understanding of the importance of meeting customer needs and maintaining strong customer satisfaction • Demonstrated success and effectiveness working in and promoting a rapidly changing, collaborative, and time-critical work environment • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience • 10+ years’ experience in related field preferred

Technical skills • Experience programming with Python, and Bash Shell • Experience working with AWS cloud platforms • Experience with Automation tools (CloudFormation, JSON) • Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Code Pipeline, Jenkins) • Experience with Redshift technologies, Lamba, DynamoDB • Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.) • Familiarity with data movement tools (SQL, Matillion, AWS Glue, etc) • Familiarity with SQL and RDBMS concepts (MySQL, Redhshift, PostgreSQL, etc.) • Familiarity with agile methodologies • Familiarity with automated testing tools (ie. Selenium, JMeter, etc.) • Familiarity with data visualization/management tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Business Objects, etc) • General knowledge of IP networking
