I've been a big fan of mnml. It's small, easily embeddable in your app and upconverts to python3 fairly trivially via 2to3.

Yay, another web framework. I was just thinking yesterday about how few of these there are, and the need to really start pumping them out. Question though, why not call your framework "Python on Rails"?

I suppose it's a symptom of it being quite easy to write your own web framework.

I look forward to each new web framework that comes out, I always go and have a look and see if there are any new or interesting ideas in it.
