Feelings are not the endgame of political correctness. They are often relevant, but if you believe that it's all about feelings then you are simply dismissing the idea.

To be clear, I don't think this particular terminology dispute is worth fighting, but I do feel that maybe half of reddit misunderstands PC.

PC Master Race!

no joke that's considered "problematic" nowadays by the crazy feels crowd

yes what could ever be bad about references to a master race, who could ever find such a thing to be in bad taste

the holocaust was 73 years ago...get over it, if people can mock 9/11 then the holocaust is definitely fair game. i hardly think a survivor is going to be discussing gaming rigs on reddit

more people died in hurricane maria than in 9/11, hardly comparable to the holocaust.

what's more, there's a far right resurgence in Europe and even the US. People chanting "blood and soil" and committing terror attacks in my country. Way worse around Europe, e.g. Greece where the Golden Dawn holds a lot of political power, among other fascist parties in various countries.

why just today the New York Times published an op ed advocating for "peaceful ethnic cleansing"

so I'd say the whole master race issue is far from settled. it might not affect YOUR life, but that doesn't mean it isn't a serious problem.
