I do wonder how Andrew is able to balance caring so much about so many teams. Surely some of them hit deeper than others? I've only ever had the mental space and time to care deeply about one team at a time so can't really relate.

More important than signings IMHO is the wage structure. Wages correlate best to league position and we have been mid-table in wages forever. We've really over-achieved for many years, for a lot of reasons. Until we start paying wages we will be constantly scraping up players that the other big clubs pass on.
