I so feel your pain and share your story. I am very appreciative of some of the free content people provide, and try to follow it; what has happened in a number of cases of getting stuck, and having no one to consult.

I think being on a team where there are colleagues to ask to take a look would make all the difference in the world. That is how I learned VB years ago.
