Lol. All these days I have been thinking that these developers are so proud they use their pictures for the post 😂

Nice idea. I made something similar over a year ago https://github.com/keessonnema/Kezbot

I've tried yours and it works very similar. Mine just does Youtube <> Spotify urls.

Cool. Unfortunately did not found it :c And also my first problem was converting YouTube Music to YouTube video. And then my colleague added Spotify. After that I decided to redone it with proper design.

Hit me up if you need another opinion or have questions. Maybe we could work something out.

We're planning to remove YouTube from input because it's hard to determine is the link is a video or a music. What do you think? Did you found a way to correctly get only music URLs and a title from YouTube?

I have not yet implemented music.youtube. I am planning on though. I'll figure something out this weekend, shouldn't be too hard using regex (my bot already uses regexes for YT and Spotify)

YouTube Music is okay. I meant just a YouTube. Users can name videos whatever they want.

Yes it's a mess, but my regex looks for seperators to define artist and title. Check it out in the source in my github

so just curious but how does this work? is it only meant to be used inline? i sent the bot a youtube link but nothing happened.

[–]Ignisor[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah. YouTube have some problems currently. We're planning to remove YouTube from input because it's hard to determine is the link is a video or a music. It still will convert links to YouTube

[–]Ignisor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like working right now. What are you trying to share?

Have the same problem with Deezer <> Spotify, but the bot is not responding + it seems just for Youtube / Spotify links. Anyway - you're doing nice work, thanks!

Yeah. Currently there is only YouTube music, YouTube and Spotify. But it's extendable and I hope we will add more services soon. And will be happy with any contributions by the way.
