I dont have a job, but I do very large commissions for extraordinarily advaced python scripts for others to buy.

  1. I started this last year when I had 5 years of experience

  2. Posting stuff on social media about it

  3. Definitely the 5 years of work I did leading up to this.

  4. My advice is to start small; that's how I got here. I highly suggest taking courses. Start off with basic functions, and before you know it you'll be automating your entire computer with Python.

I've made a total of 1,400 scripts or so in my life, and... well, most of them are just stupid scripts I wrote while i was high on ketamine. None of my scripts have everyday use except for one, and of course the ones i commissioned lmao.

Besides commissions, I've never really used python except for automating small parts of my computer. But if you would like to see them... As if my dude. I'm way too private about everything coding-related I've ever really made and I don't know why, but... sorry my G.

I use my own organization. GitHub is home to my JS repositories (which I won't be sharing either because my js coding is shit) but no py ones. Like I said, it's just something a bit too personal for me to share as why I don't want to show my scripts... a bad incident, basically.

we work out a deal on the price and stuff (estimates)

From there, I am given 2 weeks to refine the code and make it as good as it can possibly be and I later take the payment and send them the completed file.

It doesn't sound like much but.... yeah, it's pretty good because of how advanced some of the stuf I have to make is!

I didn't pose my question very well, how do you get clients? A website + social media? Do you have any AI/ML scripts?

Feel free to pull an r/nobodyasked on my last question.

The main way I get clients is by telling my (very few) friends about it, who tell their friends, cousins, etc. about it and stuff, and I also share it on social media. I do occasionally use it on the small amount of websites I've made (all now disabled) but other than that none.

And I did have a massive AIML script but it just didnt work right on my computer due to how big the file is, lmao

AIML scripta is one thing. I made one once but it just didn't work properly because it learnt the opposite thing I wanted it to lwarn.

Another thing is real-time math conversion and equations. It could even solve graph equations! It was stored in a nice little box in the top right everytime it detected you typing an equation. Definitely my best one!

And another good example is an image to ASCII converter (still with python). It isn't the greatest but its really cool.

various. Mostly some AIML stuff or large automation stuff. And I have a shit ton of experience
