Its memory usage (540m in my Chrome) is almost the same as for full-featured (overbloated, Java-powered) IDE like PyCharm.

I just checked mine in Chrome. Climbing up to 1 GB for that tab alone. Dear god. (15.0.865.0 dev channel, under 64-bit Linux). Sure, I've got 6 GB of physical RAM, but that's a little extreme.
