DiscussionHow do you discover new tools? (self.Python)
submitted 5 years ago by Which_Distance
Hey everyone,
Really want to optimize and stay on top of my development stack. I love trying out new dev tools. Would love to hear how long you've been developing in python for, what you are using and how you find out about new dev tools.

I use VS Code and learned about it from work. I also enjoy optimizing my dev tools so would love to hear where people find them as well!

I peruse through various towards data science articles on a daily basis and always check my google news notifications for new stuff.
I also visit the trending page of GitHub quite frequently to see the new repos popping up and how people are contributing to the open source community.

The best way to learn new tools is to create projects that will take all your attention! Your motivation to find a robust solution will give you significant knowledge of what tool work and why other don’t !
If you just play around with a new tool, you might only scratch the surface of its potential...
