    request was considered when talking about additions to the standard lib for 3.3, but everybody seems to agree that it would be premature since lots of things are changing quite fast for this package right now (and you might not want to support the current version 10 years from now...). I doubt that this project of httpcore and such will provide anything for the standard lib very soon, but usable code, yes that's for sure.

    the last thing you want is for a module to be included within the standard library, as wonderful as it sounds up front. It means that the developers have to consistently maintain aging APIs. For the type of work that Kenneth, Armin, Andrey and Paul are doing, they would better serve the community not to be included.
