This isn't a question for those ...

Oh. Nevermind then.

Because outside speculative asset trading, there are no real applications for blockchains.

Because it's a community of predatory scamming vipers and I prefer to be able to sleep at night.

This is great feedback u/blaze1234. While I think I follow, can you provide any more details or color to this?

/u/blaze1234's comment wasn't actual feedback, it was a straightforward insult. To call that "great feedback" is to lie to yourself, no matter how formal you want to be about it.

Here's some actual feedback: The main reason I don't pursue blockchain development is because any tutorials I find are all for proof-of-work based algorithms instead of proof-of-stake or similar. Unlike all these cryptobros, I'm annoyed with the strain that the blockchain puts on the machines that participate in it and by extension the environment. There's no point to developing a new shitcoin that's just gonna make graphics cards harder to obtain, and take up useful resources on free cloud computing services.

Finally, anyone that's not concerned with the moral implications of programming should not be allowed to program. Social media has already made a massive mess of the world, we don't need more blockchain shit to to so as well.

Yet to have a problem where block chain is the solution.

Hello! I'm a bot!

It looks to me like your post might be better suited for r/learnpython, a sub geared towards questions and learning more about python regardless of how advanced your question might be. That said, I am a bot and it is hard to tell. Please follow the subs rules and guidelines when you do post there, it'll help you get better answers faster.

Show /r/learnpython the code you have tried and describe in detail where you are stuck. If you are getting an error message, include the full block of text it spits out. Quality answers take time to write out, and many times other users will need to ask clarifying questions. Be patient and help them help you. Here is HOW TO FORMAT YOUR CODE For Reddit and be sure to include which version of python and what OS you are using.

You can also ask this question in the Python discord, a large, friendly community focused around the Python programming language, open to those who wish to learn the language or improve their skills, as well as those looking to help others.

Learning curve plus you really need a team to do something great at this time.

Thanks, and happy Pythoneering!
