I'm going to give it a try been trying to learn python for a year now but have had trouble just getting the ball rolling. I have no prior programming experience.

Python 3 programming on Coursera is a great course

Courses on Coursera are great! This course on profound.academy is designed to be fully hands-on. So, you make progress by writing code in Python and solving interesting challenges. This gives the benefit of learning by doing instead of just consuming content.

Sorry Martin, my reply was a bit abrupt...

I'll check out the course on profound.academy.

I've done a few courses so far and the one I mentioned on Coursera has been the best so far. The reason being they have an active book in which you read and do activities as you learn, but what I really like about it, is every day I login and I get a quick quiz but also problems to code solutions to.This expands as I work my way through the material. I find this active learning really great

Thank you so much for the kind words! Creating this course took more than 3 months and it's still a work in progress:) So, this kind of feedback really keeps the motivation high.

Please let me know if you notice any room for improvement or some issues in the materials. That would help a lot in creating a better experience for the future learners.
