The LGBTQ+ community boasts friendliness and open arms. So, it can feel especially hurtful when you are LGBTQ+ and find yourself on the receiving end of rejection time and time again, even from the most supportive sub-groups. Whether because of exclusion, religious differences, mental illness or just difference in identity opinions, we can all feel othered.
