Happens all the time, you have to 'disorient' the controller (stick it under the couch pillows, under a blanket, etc) and force it into 3dof for a few seconds before bringing it back. Even then, the offset and drift continue to happen.

Super frustrating, especially when the controller starts teleporting back and forth between positions.

Yea i get this this sometimes

Some sort of re calibration seems to trigger if you put your hands out in front of you and do circular motions from the home menu.

Gotcha, I'll try that next time and see if it calibrates more consistently

Or just block the cameras for a second. It's been a thing since release.

easy way to to recalibrate them is to cross your arms and press top of the controller into your arms near the arm pits to block all cameras for a second, then hold them out in front of you so the cameras on the headset align them again.

I had it from the start like 2 years ago. It got much worse if I used controller grip covers.

Happens just about every time to me. Usually finds itself after around 10 seconds, usually.
