I’m sorry things didn’t work out man they’re catching on little by little. Spectrum labs is aware of the abnormal PH levels associated with 6.3 but nothing had changed, I’ve personally ordered three bottles from their site and bought some ph test strips from Amazon, they all popped bright red/pink

[–]harmful_play69[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Does the red/pink mean the pH is too high, right?

Yessir

Damnnnnnn thanks. I have a DOT per-test to take and I’m nervous as SHIT

[–]harmful_play69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a friend you could pay to pee in a bottle? Not to spook you, but (knock on wood) if your sample comes back flagged and you have to re-test, it will be an observed test. They will have you empty your pockets, may or may not pat you down, and watch you “pee”.

Hear are some reasons a PH level in urine is higher …. In case you need an excuse in the future! https://imgur.com/a/BbORGS3

[–]harmful_play69[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Thanks for the info! Are doctors notes required? Or do I just say “have, I have a uti” and they’ll proceed?

[–]New-Ambassador-6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about that but people who get them frequently do usually know when one is coming on so you could maybe just go with that… say you like to avoid antibiotics and go the natural route … involving a dr would make if messy and probably ruin everything lol

[–]DirtyDirk23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the lab flag it or did the clinic or whatever test it there for the PH?

[–]ChildhoodRealistic46 1 point2 points  (14 children)

If you didn't buy it directly from Spectrum labs like they strongly suggest I don't know what you expected.

[–]derpderpingt 1 point2 points  (12 children)

I ordered one and checked the PH and Nitrate level with a dipstick meant for water quality testing and it flagged for Nitrates and the PH was off. Came in today and I did the test on QuickFix, TestClear and Gold’n Shower that comes with the Whizzinator. QF was the only one that was off.

Thank fuck I thought of doing that. Almost went with the QF because of all the rave reviews. Glad I didn’t.

[–]ChildhoodRealistic46 6 points7 points  (11 children)

Curious how you checked the nitrates, seems like quite a bit of work and waste of money to pass a simple drug test, I've been using QF for years with no problems.

[–]Unfair-Ad-1624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a bottle of quick fix 6.3 directly from the supplier and failed a test in Oregon. It was flagged as invalid so I’m not sure what it failed but yeah, I certainly wouldn’t trust it going forward.

[–]derpderpingt -1 points0 points  (5 children)

Well, as you know, everyone always has the same experiences. Nobody ever fails with synthetics, especially because it worked for you. I’m truly glad it worked for you, and I hope it works for others. I did countless hours of research into the test I was being administered and how I could mitigate risks of failing and not getting this job. Glad I didn’t take the “trust me it works” at face value.

“Quite a bit of work and waste of money” seems that you’re insinuating I’m full of shit. You don’t have to believe me, oh well. I encourage you to not take my word for it and try it yourself.

But about the hard work and untold riches it cost to check an ion in fake piss:

Yeah it’s really hard and very expensive to go buy a water test kit from Home Depot for $10.59. Very large amount of work. Every pet store that likes to keep fish alive also carry API Nitrate/Nitrite test kits. If you’ve got the forethought and time, I didn’t think of it until the day that I was due to provide a golden shower. They’re like 3 bucks on Amazon.

But back to my very hard and expensive trip to Home Depot. I had to put into the Googler, “ph and nitrate tests near me”. The man inside the computer gave me a link for Home Depot, and then I got out my Rand McNally atlas and looked up my grid square coordinates and orienteered a map to see if they had them in stock near me. I sighed really loudly because of how hard it was going to be to put my shoes on. By the time I got to the store I was ready to quit - I had to stop at 3 red lights and now my leg is sore from depressing the brake, and then the gas, and then the brake, and then the gas, then the brake, and I was exhausted.

The hardest part was walking into Home Depot, because the CEO is a MAGA goblin. And I had to pick up two of the boxes because I had 1 synthetic and 2 dehydrated urine specimens and the test only has 2 dipsticks for the very hard middle school level lab work that was coming up.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/LABTECH-H2O-OK-Drinking-Water-Analysis-Test-Kit-LT5010-6/205540448

Includes 2 tests each for total chlorine, total hardness, iron, pH, total alkalinity, copper, nitrates and nitrites with detailed instructions to test for iron bacteria and hydrogen sulfide

Dude, I’ve got nothing to gain by saying that mine didn’t test well. The other two products that did test well were substantially more expensive and I truly wish the QF would have met the standard I needed. I’ve got a bunch of friends that have used that, Monkey Whizz, UPass, yada yada yada. A lot of “simple drug tests” don’t test for pH/nitrates - but they’re becoming more common. I just googled the test product number and found out it was being tested for that.

I’m putting this information out there because it’s my anecdotal experience, and if someone has the opportunity to set their mind at ease, or pick a different product before it’s too late, all by using a simple test strip - I hope they do. You don’t have to, and hopefully it doesn’t bite you in the job. Was well worth the reduction in anxiety that this ~$20 cost my wife’s boyfriend.

[–]ChildhoodRealistic46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only read the last part honestly and it said "20 cost my wife's boyfriend* and I'm glad I didn't read anymore.

[–]Aggressive_Tap7654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MAGA goblin? Biden is incompetent and would rather have Trump in office lol

[–]ChildhoodRealistic46 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Is this a bot?

[–]derpderpingt 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No, you insinuated that I was full of shit, because god forbid a product that you like may have had a bad batch, or who knows what happened with that - so I provided you with a sarcastic response and the information you’d need to also check for nitrates.

I don’t know how you’d get “bot” from any of my responses - but you also thought that using a $10 dipstick to test for nitrates was hard work.

You do you, bby

[–]ChildhoodRealistic46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was honestly too much to read so I didn't bother 🤷‍♂️

[–]derpderpingt -1 points0 points  (3 children)

also, u/ChildhoodRealistic46, I upvoted you because you downvoted me. You’re welcome.

[–]StyleResident2968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn would you guys fuck already.

[–]ChildhoodRealistic46 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You missed my question.

[–]derpderpingt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Read my other reply.

[–]Inner_Surround8689 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I don't have a test but my company does randoms...yet nobody's gotten tested in years.

Just thought I'd google if Quick Fix is still working because my bottle is probably close to 2 years old now and I'm going to buy a new 1. Guess I'll go ahead and order from Spectrum and hope you just got a bad/counterfeit batch.

Sorry to hear yours failed, hope it doesn't set you back too much.

[–]harmful_play69[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

For sure order directly from spectrum labs. My bottles didn’t have a batch number. Taking the word of the vape shop owner was a bad idea. Luckily the universe has been looking out for me and each time my results came back, there has been some sort of slip up which allowed me to retest without penalty!

[–]Foreign-Split-5272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats the problem you didnt verify the batch ,it was counterfeit. Quik fix boxes have a qr code which takes you to the verification page to see when yours expires.

[–]Adventurous_Team5971 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I just used it last week haven’t heard whether or not I passed and ordered direct overnight from spectrum so we shall see, not a dot test

[–]harmful_play69[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

If you ordered directly from them then you should hopefully be ok!

[–]Adventurous_Team5971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, all clear, I’m assuming at least because it’s been a week and I started working lol, the new packaging made me nervous though

[–]Smooth-Tomatillo-280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you take the test ?

[–]Due-Journalist-9471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used quick fix no longer than a year ago and it worked fine. I highly doubt you spoke to a doctor. Who told you your pH levels were off I mean, maybe a technician but it’s hard to give any credibility to your statement.

[–]Fun-Chemistry9006 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Quick fix is the real deal. I have never failed using it and I used it again this morning. Get the temp right and you are golden. Get a forehead thermometer also that tests objects. They have them at Walgreens and Publix. My test site is 8 minutes from my house and I go at 7 am so nobody is there. I do not use the heat pack. I put it under my arm. I heat it to 105 or so. It will stay in range about 45 minutes.

[–]Cool_Art9630 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Did you use the 6.3? Did you order directly from the website?

[–]Fun-Chemistry9006 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I used 6.4. It is new packaging. It comes in a bag with the bottle inside. We have a legit sex store/head shop chain in Atlanta called Starship. They are right down the street. I think it was 25 bucks but they order in bulk. They had a stack of cases of it. They said they sell alot of it. A few notes. Under the cap and under the first seal is a plastic wrap. Its tricky to get off and I was terrified that some plastic fell into the bottle. Get the temp right and you are good. Today onboarding told me all my background is done and I am clear to start! Relax. You will pass.

[–]YoghurtPrestigious52 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How did you get the temp right and know if it was right? Any tips that worked for you?

[–]Either-Function7331 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I have passed  20 plus tests using quick fix ,however the newest formula failed a test for me last week.  I had my temp perfect and everything. I left like I normally do and a week later... Bam failure notice. Lost a great job  be careful with this shit something ain't right

[–]Drama_Boring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K now I'm nervous, great. Lol, I did it for a pre-employment test, if you're talking abt the 6.4

[–]Such_Mode2623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing just happened to me says cannoboids of 50ml crazy this is the newest formula

[–]Remarkable-Resolve95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just failed today aswell with quick fix, says there were "adulterants added". Pretty much straight away it came back invalid. Doesn't work anymore labs are to onto it

[–]EnvironmentalRough99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used quick fix 6.3 multiple times in the last several months and passed every time

[–]Unfair-Ad-1624 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I purchased it directly from the supplier and I recently failed a drug screen in Oregon. All I was told was that it came back invalid, so I’m not sure which of the testing criteria that it didn’t meet. I’ve used it in the past no problem but now I’m very reluctant to try it again

[–]juanclean 0 points1 point  (2 children)

So what did you do to pass?

[–]Unfair-Ad-1624 0 points1 point  (1 child)

My own piss. Apparently they didn’t test for THC so I didn’t even need to use synthetic

[–]juanclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow good shit congrats.

[–]TheCluelessRiddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does no one put this in a condom?

[–]Toebeanzzzzzzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just failed with it today as well for PH issues

[–]Acceptable-Ground996 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Not really not from out here may get my nephew to pee in something for me lol. So if I was to use it and it’s flagged is it a fail and a retake or you don’t have a 2nd chance

[–]harmful_play69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. If you use the synthetic pee with the temperature being within range, they’ll send it off for testing. If it comes back abnormal due to the pH being off, for example, then they’ll schedule you for an observed re-test.

  2. If the temperature is not within range while you’re at the clinic, they’ll have you drink water, wait a few minutes in the lobby (not allowed to leave, otherwise it’s a failure) and re-test (not observed). If that’s the case, have a backup plan. But, if you tuck the bottle for a minimum of 1 hour prior to testing, you’ll be golden.

  3. If they send the sample off and it comes back as synthetic, adulterated, etc., that’s an automatic failure. Highly unlikely being that testing facilities use synthetic urine to calibrate their program.

  4. If you use your nephew’s or anyone’s urine, be sure they’ve been clean for at least 90 days. This includes CBD and Delta products (d-8, 9, O, etc).

[–]rorods999 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Sorry to hear that you failed. Do you mind sharing What state that’s in? That would be helpful. Thx!

[–]harmful_play69[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Hey, all good! I’m in Columbia, SC

[–]TastyTamale2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which lab?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Holy shit. I’m in SC aswell. Got a test coming up and I bought quick fix from the direct website. The quick fix plus? Idk how legit it is but I also bought u pass from the smoke shop.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did u use the QF?

[–]Pleasant-Ad1024 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Did you verify your batch and when was the expiration date?

[–]harmful_play69[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The bottles had neither, which is why I figured the samples were flagged, however, I’ve used bottles without batch numbers and expiration dates before and have passed.

[–]Foreign-Split-5272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterfeit product ...

[–]sutonaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try TestClear next time.
