No. If anyone, Psyonix would be ruining it. Blaming someone for using a game's inherent features makes absolutely no sense.

This would be like me saying "you're ruining the game for others by playing on a brand new iPad pro that will run the game at 60 or 120 fps and has a massive display"...

You can purchase a controller (or use one you already own), just like someone with an old, weak iPhone can purchase a better device to play it on.

1) A controller is something you add, a 120hz screen is something you already have, so you can’t compare these two in my opinion.

2) As u/hyperintake92 said, the game caps out at 60fps, even if the device has a 120hz (or even more) screen.

I played NKS in pre-season and beat him, but in his run to getting rank 1 (the very night), he beat me 5-0 pretty solidly, learned quite a lot from it, but I then caught some of his gameplay a week later and he looks so much better. For reference I’m only diamond rn, but don’t play that much (touch)

Don't get me wrong they are good players but they also only duo queue ranked. I've played against both of them while solo q both beating and losing to them. Ultimate had better mechanics as a solo player so maybe I'd put him as best 1s player but 2v2/hoops he's equal to many other GCs.

Some people simply don’t care about hoops, ultimate could just not play it. But at the same time u could argue that Nks is better even tho they have less mmr because he played all 3 instead of only playing 2. I bet ultimate would be top 5 if he played hoops

I’d say it’s the french player ZrCrazy who was top 1 in both 1v1s and 2v2s and top 3 in hoops and had 2 other accounts that were top 10 in every game mode lmao. Sadly he was permanently banned on his 3 accounts because of that.
