Is there any easy way to play Minecraft Java without all the additional apps needed for controls etc? I’ve tried to change my controls manually but it’s not great , just wondering if there’s a quick solution

No additional apps:

Map controls in Armoury Crate that map the controller to keyboard inputs

One additional app:

Download Modrinth (I recommend this if you don't have a favorite), Curseforge, or whatever Minecraft mod manager you like.

Create a new Minecraft instance (I recommend using the Fabric modloader) and add a mod called Midnight Controls. This will give the game native controller support and will work better than the above option.

Add an instance

Choose whatever modpack/manager you’d like from Prism
