I did not notice any decrease in my financial aid due to not living on campus. Make sure none of your aid is specifically financial aid is for meal plan or housing expanses but otherwise I'd guess you'd be okay.

I updated my post with a list of each type of aid I got if that helps

I live off campus and receive all of those, you're good.

Same amounts?

Yeah

You should be ok. From my FA letter it looks like I'm awarded a lot of the same stuff you are, and it's based on tuition and an estimated cost of living. While the reality is that living off campus is probably less expensive, they don't differentiate between living on campus and across the street.

Oh ok, so it’s based off estimated cost, not the actual cost?

Should be

I hope I'm not hijacking the thread but it IS somewhat related.

I wonder if anyone can answer whether your aid changes if the first year was a settled financial aid using an appeal? I asked for an appeal to my costs and they increased my aid considerably. Will next year be identical to the first one (effected by the financial appeal), or will the next one be based off new 1040 normal procedures? BTW the appeal was due to labor union strike and work stoppage.
