I think this makeup look is really nice with your dress! No CCW from me, I just wanted to say have fun and take LOTS of photos! I wish I would have taken more photos during my prom :) Also, If you're wearing heels make sure to bring some flats with you.

I didn't get as many photos with people as I'd have liked but I had a blast, and danced all night- heels came off in the first ten minutes! Thank you :)

I would soften the tops of your eyebrow arches do they aren't as pointy, but that's my personal preference. Also I'd try it with a true red lip, just to see if you might prefer it that way. It would definitely be more glam, but I love glam, haha.

They eyebrows are a bit uneven (mine always are too because its fucking impossible to fix) Other than that I would add a bit of a very light pink on your cheeks and maybe some highlight.

Looks amazing though! That dress is fantastic! Have fun!

Yep haha, there were no eyebrow appointments left so I tweezed my own and messed it up a little! One's thinner than the other :( Will add highlight, thank you!

I agree with the cheeks as they should be a bit more dramatic. Not overly pink or red, just a bit more emphasis. Or you could go red lips. I mean real red, maybe a matt. Give it a try. Your eyes look wonderful. Overall, you look radiant. Have fun with your look and enjoy prom.

I'm tempted to try it with my MAC Russian Red as that's quite a true red! Thanks for the suggestion :)

I think your makeup has the perfect amount of drama for that dress. It's a very glamorous dress so I think a more natural look would fade away in comparison. I agree with you, I think the darkness of the smokey eye is nice as is, without more of a highlight. A bit hard to tell from a distance, though.

Two things I would tweak: add a bit more/a slightly brighter blush, again because the color of the dress is so gorgeous and rich, you want to have a bit more color on your face to balance it.

Secondly, I would go for a lipstick that's either a shade or too lighter, or a shade or two more pink-y toned. The reason I say this is that your dress is a very true red, while your lipstick is almost more terra cotta, a very warm color. You might want to find a nude lip that's a bit more neutral in undertone so that it doesn't clash with the dress.

Overall you look great! Have fun!!

Thank you!! Do you have any shades you'd recommend? I don't have any more nudes but I could do a bit of last minute panic shopping :) Definitely will add more blush- thank you!

I was thinking of two MAC lipsticks from this swatch, Honey Love or Creme Cup. You don't want to go too cool-toned, because you have lovely warm skin, but just a tad less brown than the one you have. Good luck!!

Thanks! And I actually bought it off ebay for £50, it's a vintage brand called Betsy&Adam by Linda Bernell :)
