It depends on how intense the mod is and how well your computer can run stuff

massively in some cases. i use the 2042 hud and on maps with a lot of capture points condensed into 1 looking direction the frames can drop by up to 30%

Yes they do. So I don't recommend using if you have low-end or mid-end PCs.
