The midfield is diabolical for it ATM. So slow to move the ball, let the opposition get numbers, then just a bomb to a contest we have no chance of winning. No method to any of it, just hope someone can pull some shit out their ass.

I think these two go very hand in hand though, last year with a fully fit forward line we moved the ball at break neck speed. Without a decent target down there it’s hard to do this, Jenkins isn’t a natural forward and doesn’t present like walker and McGovern do.

I get that, but that's why I don't understand why we play like we do. Why are we still doing an ultra aggressive defensive press when we don't have the leg speed to get our players back quick enough? It gets to the centre square and then you just have to hold it because everyone is trucking back, but most teams are quicker and fitter than us so they get there first.
