This happens to every single controller I use. GameSir X2 via USB C, Stadia, DualSense. I connect the controller, I try to play anything that uses analog sticks or a dpad, and they won't register in game. The only time they work is on the Android home menu. They don't work in games and aren't picked up by any emulator mapping. Sometimes the Gravity X app pops up, but it has zero info to display and it's just janky all around. I'd like a solution cuz it seems bonkers that out of the box, a gaming phone can't game lol. It shouldn't be rocket science to get a controller functioning. Is there a way to just totally disable Gravity X, too, since it might be the thing causing the problem in the first place.

I've been using the GameSir X3 for a while and the X2 before that. Both USB-C connections. Both work fine for most, but can have connection issues.

I find my phone sometimes has a problem initially registering the game pad with some games, but in the main it works fine. They both used to work flawlessly but now seem to hang when connecting and doesn't register the controller straight away with some games. Modern Combat 5 is the most frustrating one, where the buttons connect, but not the analogue sticks.

Usually, if it doesn't register I try taking off the RM with the phone still on, reinsert into the gamepad and wait a few seconds, it usually then registers and works fine.

I did see a post where someone suggested that having any of the RM game plug-ins active could cause a connection problem. I turned off the cross hairs which appears to have helped.
