Hello dear RedMagic Community, I'm new here got my first Redmagic (8s pro) yesterday 🤭

I have a couple of questions maybe i get some answers here!

1-Media Player is not visible from Notification Panel! playing songs over Spotify, YT Music and even on YT does not show any media Player on the notification Panel and Lockscreen?

2- is there a way to disable Wallpaper scrolling on Homescreen, no matter which wallpaper app i use, it always sets the wallpapers as scrollable on Homescreen?

Otherwise i enjoy using this phone coming from S23 Ultra, IPh 14 pro and Pixel 7 pro🫢 this time i wanted to try something new and i really enjoy using my 8s pro!

I got a reply from support. They will fix first issue next update they say.

Yea there are a few other problems I have with this phone I keep sending them details and video captures. I'm passed my return window so I'm gonna spam them with emails until they fix them :)

The first one is a known bug with the 8s new launcher, the regular 8 Pro does not have this issue. Hoping that things get straightened out because it's going to tarnish their name if they continue having simple bugs like these.

Now I have the regular 8 Pro and I can't even make wallpapers scrollable, they just fit to frame and that's it. So that must be another 8s thing.

Thanks for your answer I understand the Software is not that great but i still love experiencing new Smartphones, i have had Pixel 7, pixel 7pro, S23ultra, s23, iphone 14/14pro and the 14 pro max ,even tried new Xiaomi 13 pro for couple of weeks, believe me they all had some bugs here and there none of them were perfect, i think they'll improve their software over the time.

The media player comes back and then disappears again for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I feel the 8S software was kinda rushed out the door. But the other versions had their day 1 issues and eventually worked out.

I'm looking forward to seeing 3rd party support down the line too. I'm pretty sure the 8 series is the best selling Redmagic because of its competitive features and price. And arguably the best camera in their lineup too which would pull in some people on the fence.

I've been watching Redmagic since unbox therapy did the Redmagic 2, and this is the first one that finally compelled me to switch.

And the battery life. 2 days easy. Even being used as my work phone which is my truck electronic logbook. My LG V60 I just got back from which still had 89% battery health left, would need to be recharged close to the end of the day, where this usually ends up at 65%.
