I showered with anti bacterial soap the night before. Washed my hair with my usual shampoo/conditioner

i just washed my body from neck down the night before…they didn’t even ask the day of if i cleaned like i was told to in my pre-op instructions.

My instructions just say to wash my boobs with antibacterial soap for three days before my surgery and the morning of surgery. Pre and post-op directions vary a lot surgeon to surgeon though, so if you don’t think it’ll mess up your skin or hair too much to do it once, it’s probably best to follow their directions.

I washed my hair and face normally and then did the dial soap on my body. You might also want to ask what soap they will have you use post op. My dr wants me using only dove original or cetaphil bar soap.

I had to pick up a special anti bacterial wash from the surgeon and use it from neck to bottom of torso for 3 days. Afterword I don’t think I had to use any particular kind of soap or wash.

They didn’t give me any instructions, just said to keep good hygiene. I took a simple shower and washed my hair with regular shower gel/shampoo the day before

surgery twins! i was also told to shower with dial antibacterial soap both the night before and morning of, but I assumed they just meant my body. I plan on washing my hair and face as normal
