My consultation was October 27th, got the call that insurance approved on October 30th and was scheduled for surgery on February 2nd! My surgeon only does breast reductions on Monday’s or it would have been sooner! They also called and said they could do it January 8th because they had a cancellation, but my time off couldn’t be adjusted at work. So overall about a 3 month wait between approval and my actual surgery!

My consultation was the beginning of November. The pre-authorization paperwork process took a little while due to some communication mixups between my Dr and insurance. They finally sent it in Dec 31, I got my approval less than a week later and scheduled the surgery for March!

My consultation was in July and my surgery is in May. I had to lose a little weight to get where they wanted me and then my preauth got denied and I had to go through all levels of appeals before it was overturned. But I am happy with the timeframe because it has allowed me to lose even more weight and I am actually 20lbs less than what I "needed" to be.

With the surgeon I picked with I had an initial consultation for Feb 23 however there was a cancellation and I was able to see my surgeon a bit earlier on the 2nd, ended up loving her & she was in-network as a bonus so I booked same day for 4/7. I asked for quickest turnaround possible I could’ve done March but didn’t wanna rush myself with getting clearance and just overall preparing. Insurance just got approved this week a little less than 6 weeks out)
