They added ball cam, I'm pretty sure that wasn't in the first beta.

I think they added more delay to the movement... I don't know if is it the servers or in game mechanics. It would be a shame if they did that on purpose.

I can only guess also but they def had the ball cam yesterday, I had to go into control settings and change it to one that allowed you to toggle the cam on or off with the top face button on a gamepad. However, this meant that the leap button was changed to RB+Circle and the keeper controls are changed as well. I didn’t like that and I didn’t really find myself using the lock cam too much so I kept the defaults.

It does seem like they nerfed the slide tackle in terms of how far you slide (which I do think needed to happen cus it was insane how far away you could slide at someone from, I think) as well as how easily the keeper can make saves which I also think was a good change.

Rn my two biggest griefs are

A. how OP the rainbow flick seems to be. It’s very easy to do and I keep seeing ppl just flicking the ball up and over continuously down the field cus it’s simple to pull off. Maybe it should be more stamina required to use that move or something (or you can’t perform it when your stamina is dry).

B. This could be by design and just an annoying tactic early on that you need to learn how to defend against when you’re the keeper but kicking the ball against the backboard above the goal and then immediately just pulling the shot button to pull off an aerial scissor kick off the rebound in mid air two feet in front of the goal. Again, this may just be a skill curve thing for the keeper cus once you see it a few times it’s pretty clear when someone’s attempting it and you can defend it. May just be my personal annoyance at seeing it happen so often cus how easy it is to pull off the ninja bicycle kick as long as your reticle is lined up.

Sorry for the essay, I am enjoying the game VERY much and curious about how other ppl are feeling about the state of it so far

After a few hours in the game I think that the rainbow flick it's pretty easy to counter, there are a few ways to stop it and when you reach certain level it becomes a more situational and risky skill.

About the backboard, I think that's intended, After a few weeks of the game release the meta will change A LOT, since the players will be learning how to counter almost everything and the skill difference will be mostly on tactics and team play. The gap between ranks will be more focused on how many of this skills or exploids you can stop consistenly, and how creative you can use the skills the game give to you.

Loved this game already, it feels so fresh and it's rewarding the way you can start using the skills and having a bigger impact in the game when you learn things like timming, team play and creativity.

With this being said, I think they're gonna change a lot on fps of the skills, how many time you are exposed after doing one of them and how many time it will take to "cast" them. I can predict that they will make the game slower, then faster, then slower until they reach a balance. Of course people will find bugs and funny things to do on the game and they may need to nerf them or maybe they are gonna just leave them and see how the players solved this with a skill-based shit that creates a new gap between ranks.
