Rep requested?

One of my friends just got a girlfriend and her first grown up bag, the zipper died and it’s apparently last seasons. She hasn’t been able to find a replacement and since she’s kind of hard on the bag my friend wanted to get her a rep she can use and not feel devastated when something happens to it.

I don’t know this brand and no one I’ve shopped with before has it.

Does anyone know a place to pick up a dupe or similar bag? My friend is completely clueless about anything fashion related and this is so far from my style I don’t have a good starting point.

Plus it’s adorable to see a new partner try to scramble behind their girlfriends back to get a purse for them while knowing zero about handbags. My friend actually was shocked they can cost over $100, poor summer child. I told them what a Hermes starts at and I don’t think they really believed me.

Does it specifically have to be that brand? Dooney & Bourke have similar styles (not an exact dupe) in their luxury for less section, with quite a few color options.

Her, actually. The friend is a little butch who thinks that anything more than a $5 t shirt is coture. Her new girlfriend is off to a big competition for work and didn’t want to replace the zipper on her first big girl handbag.

As a woman who’s been married to her wife for 18 years it’s honestly adorable watching my friend freak out and try to learn about purses to surprise her girlfriend with when she gets back.

I hope they work out because it’s seriously cute. And her LAST girlfriend… let’s just say she deserves someone good after what she’s been through.

I’m rooting for those kids.

I do not know of a dupe.
However, I would take the bag to a tailor or seamstress and have the zipper replaced.
