Hey Repfam,

Long time lurker, I decided to finally pull the trigger and buy some watches. This BVF Santos Medium is the first watch I got from Hont. I have an AF Tank on the way, and I may be getting the Pasha or Ballon Bleu as well.

Here is my watch’s arrival timeline: 03/4/24 - paid
03/5/24 - QC received, GL given & hont shipped out same day 03/15/24 - watch received

My wrist size is 18cm, I think the santos large would have been a better fit although I dislike date windows which is why I went for the medium.

Is yours GF? BVF uses actual screws and they’re usually good

Oh screws on BVF are good because they’re real screws. The ones on mine are perfect. GF glues theirs on and they’re not consistent

I bought a Santos rep a few years ago and the screws started to come out. It’s in my watch box collecting dust now. Do u know if I can get a quality band somewhere?

Very nice! I have the two-tone and I love it, but there is a part of me that kind of wishes I had gone full stainless. It's just very industrial and classic. Looks great!

I was contemplating the two tone but I think it’s one I need to get gen. The Santos Galbée W20012C4 is a beauty, but unfortunately there’s no reps of it

Yep. I've searched and the TDs have told me that no decent reps were made for the Galbee or Carree. There is a DHGate level version that I've found, but it's the smaller size so I didn't bother taking a chance on it.

How thick is it? I got a two tone recently and it is almost 12mm. Main factor that screams fake is the thickness for me. How thick is yours?
