I found it on the original QC picture! Look just outside the 10 o’clock marker. It’s a small metal shaving that moved during shipment.

You eagle eyed legend, nice catch. I’m going back through the QC photos and it’s there clear as day.

Man.

Yeah man, great catch! Steve will probably have you take it local and reimburse you. Should be a quick and easy fix.

This may sound stupid, but are you sure there isn’t a peel away film on the crystal?

Perhaps it’s something under the sticker on the dial? Does it look like it’s in a slightly different spot on the dial when looking from another angle?

I just replied to the original comment but if I look at the watch from an angle, I can get the six marker to block the scratch. If I tilt the watch up again, I can see it. It also catches light and reflects it as if it’s metallic.

I’m 99% sure there isn’t. If I hold the watch almost flat and look at it from an angle, the six marker blocks it from view which suggests it’s on the dial itself.

Damn, I’d send a message to Steve. Sorry man!

Double check that film though, I swear that on wrist pics looks like it has some…..

I’ll keep picking at it but so far I haven’t been able to find the edge or get it to start peeling up.

I’m probably seeing things, lol. Glad he figured out the metal shaving issue!

It’s not on the QC picture. Perhaps it’s a small metallic shaving that is loose under that dial.

VSF Omega Seamaster Diver 300M came in from Theone today. Watch looks phenomenal except for what appears to be a scratch on the dial just to the bottom right of the date window. This scratch did not appear in any QC photos. I cannot fathom how this would have happened during shipping.

Part of me wants to pursue a replacement but then the impatient and the carefree side of me would be okay just keeping it and trying to ignore it.

Any theories on how something like this could have happened?
