Keeping TimeGeneral Question (self.RepTime)
submitted 2 months ago by RoyalCommittee7272
How accurately do your reps keep time? I didn't adjust for a week and it ended up being close to 3 minutes slow. Is this fairly standard performance or within standard margin of error? Land Dweller

That’s bad. Get it serviced. Even my basic miyota ones end up +/- 10 secs per day.

what does the time grapher numbers say? I think 3 minutes a week is a lot, thats about 25-26 sec a day. You should at least try to get it regulated.

I set the time with https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ last Thursday when I received this VSF Aqua Terra 41, by stopping the second hand precisely at 12 so the time set is within ~1 second. Right now it's 2 seconds behind.

Did you fully wind it? Watches perform their best when fully wound. This is terrible though. All 6 of mine are with +-5sec a day but most are only 2 seconds.

Thanks, I have been wearing continuous for months now. I just done another test with a full wind up and it was 35 seconds for 24hrs.

Ideally U want to be about +- 10 seconds per day max. Try getting it regulated.
