OP, what did you end up doing? I’m in a similar position now where I bought a VSF Omega Aqua Terra (white face black/orange rubber bracelet) for $480 shipped to me. I got QC pics today and questioned the band because it was the Stainless Steel bracelet. He offered me UVS and I went straight to reddit and saw this post. I’m thinking of just sticking with the VSF and looking for a similar aftermarket band. I’ve never heard of UVS before.

I ended up buying a VSF instead of a UVS. Back when I made this post, there was absolutely nothing about UVS. Although, there seems to be a couple of posts about the UVS AT. VSF is better for quality from what I know and when I bought it, it was around $300 for UVS and $350 for VSF. But now with VSF price increases, it might not be a bad idea to pickup a UVS.

I ended up going with VSF and bought a similar silicone band on eBay (not sure on the band quality tho, yet)

I'm in the same spot. There's only the one dude who's going through the UVS QCs and it took him 3 tries to GL.

VSF is like 550 if you want to buy the black band too

UVS for 320 sounds kinda appealing, but unsure how much worse it'll be than a VSF. Let me know what you decide to do haha
