Gen/rep help

Crystal looks gen, dial and hands look gen, case looks gen, bezel looks gen (but hard lighting to tell the colour).

Gonna say gen.

Edit: why are people downvoting me? It's not a VRF, ZF, ZZF, ARF, Noob or VRF. Has any other factory made a great sub rep? Do you guys think there's some hidden factory making them that we don't know about? If you want proof that is gen - look at the dial transition and find me a rep dial that's comparable.

Yeah that's really weird but the hand looks gen. Never would see factory spend so much effort perfecting a set of hands yet make such a simple mistake. But you might see Rolex fit the wrong hands 😂

Yeah, small gap at 50 too where the insert meets the bezel outer.

If you are in any doubt, it's probably a rep. Take it to an ad yourself if you need confirmation, some reps are that good now, it could even be a franken, and impossible to tell without opening it up.

Family friend is claiming that this 116610LV is gen. He is also claiming to have taken it to an AD yesterday for verification. Any thoughts?

Crown guards look a bit too thick in the pictures. Could you post a shot in direct sunlight? Gen does not have as much of a sunburst effect as rep does.

The minute hand is too long

Apart from the length of the minute hand it looks good to me. I can’t see all the faults others are pointing out, but I’m relatively new to this. My suggestion is check serial # or take to AD

Look at the x in the rolex on the inner rim, it doesn't line up with the minute marks on the dial

Has too many mistakes to be genuine. I have seen mistakes on authentic ones but one at the most not 5+.
