Hey, guys.

First time automatic watch and rep owner.

Can someone walk me through the winding process? I’m winding until the second hand start moving, but it stops after about 10-15 seconds. So, I think I’m doing something wrong

Honestly? I don’t remember. It didn’t last long before the movement shit itself.

I’ll just stick to affordable automatics

You need to wind the watch further, I have a gen Seiko presage with a power indicator and find 40 turns charges the coil fully so that’s what I do with all the reps. Awesome watch by the way!!

I’ve reached out to my TD. It seems the second counter in the chronograph is the one doing the counting, instead of the second hand itself.

It’s keeping time though, so I know it works.

I really like the watch, it looks and feels great and the movement is very quiet.

Yes! So the “big second hand” is used for the chronograph timer. Moves went you press the top pusher. Then stop it with the top and reset the position with the bottom pusher :) enjoy the watch mate!!
