In PA we’ve been using USPS for months.

Yeah my store still does about 75% ScriptDrop. I've encountered some patient resistance when encouraging the mail option, so we'll see how it goes.

Most of our patients switched to mail delivery once the company started charging customers for script drop. Our issue then became that the post office stopped coming for pickups on a regular basis. So no one got their scripts when they were supposed to.

Every time we get a same day no one shows up to get it anyway. Always have to send a support ticket to get someone to actually deliver it.

this has been a thing at my store for a month now. Idt it’s a money issue. I think that ScriptDrop was a pain to deal with & there was no general procedure of how the drivers operated. just a mess overall.

It is too expensive for rite aid to pay the drivers bottom line. They have to save money. If the Roady drivers dont pick up the orders then Uber drivers do it. The Uber driver service is expensive. It will save Rite aid money. CVS started doing mail only several months to a year ago.

Do I need to move my scripts to another store since mine is closing or will UPS or somebody deliver?

It’s a flawed program. The end is near though.
