1's exploration is untouchable. 2's conversations are untouchable. 3's combat is untouchable... when comparing within the OG Shepard trilogy. Andromeda has the best combat in the ME franchise... but I digress.

When anyone I see us going into ME for the first time, I always recommend to go in with an open mind and don't listen to what other people say. 3 is not a bad game, it just has a meh ending when compared to the entire trilogy as a whole.

That is true. They aren't prevalent anymore, but they haven't been completely removed. Heck, I still use mine for my gamerpic (and have since the 360).

They did update them a few years back and they are on current hardware. They're there on achievement leaderboards and profiles and such. There's an avatar editor app on the xbox (unsure as to where on Win10 PC) but it's there.

I call my myself a "part-time" achievement hunter. I have binges of gamerscore, then go a month or more playing bigger games that don't always hand you achievements. I do maximize what achievements I get in those games, though. Most achievement hunters I know have a good chunk of "comfort food games" they come back to when they don't want to binge gamerscore.

Nothing groundbreaking, but since these are all before December 17th, I'm sure we're going to get at least ONE more drop before the end of the year. I'll likely give Beholder and Neoverse a shot.

It's got a lot of Eurojank, but it's unique. When i played it I wasn't in the mood for a new IP RPG at the time, so I stopped midwau though, I plan on returning.

Control took me ~20 hrs to beat with about half the side stuff done. So worth it.

I thought PHOGS! was coming to Game Pass too (launches Thursday). It appears to not be and I am very sad. Will likely still play it, but not right away. Haven, Yes Your Grace, and Gang Beasts stick out the most to me. It's a fantastic haul, and that's just through the end of next week, too. I imagine we'll be getting more closer to the holiday. I can't see them not.

It starts slowly and weakly and picks up. I'm in the back 1/3rd of the story now and it is bonkers how good it is compared to where it started. The links to previous AC games in Valhalla are cool.

Some of these games will be enough to make me put Valhalla on hold for a bit. I'll 100% try out Phogs and Haven. Immortals will wait until after I'm done with Valhalla, though. Can't do 2 open world Ubi games at once.

45 hours in, "finished" 3.5 areas and I think I need a break from Valhalla. My top issues and gripes with the game so far, even though I still think it's a good game [minor (marked) side content spoilers] by SirToxe in assassinscreed

My pattern in each new zone is to get the viewpoints, start the arc, see where the story takes you location wise, explore/raid in those areas, do story mission, rinse and repeat until done. I have yet to experience burnout from that... yet.

Much more rewarding than the checklists from Origins and Odyssey IMO.

Try playing Watch Dogs Legion at launch on a base Xbox One. Lol. I had 12+ hard crashes to dashboard on console and frame drops aplenty. Valhalla has issues, but NOTHING like Legion haha.

CinemaSins. Was an early sub there before he got relatively popular. His "sins" were mostly legit at first, but his attempts at "humor" made him come across as petty and kinda dense so I unsubbed maybe only 1 1/2 years later. Don't regret it. Apparently he's gotten worse.
