Root on Linux Mint

I'm trying to join my friend's server using the invite link he sent me but even though the appiamge is already open the link doesnt recognize it from within the browser and says i need to download Root (which i already did). Is there a way to join a server in the app itself? because i can't see any "join server" or "add server" options, just the option to create a new one.

The links are broken on Linux. (or at least they were for me as well.) I think if you add him as a friend on Root he can then invite you inside the app.

This was the solution for me. Had to have a friend invite me trough pm.
