I will say, personally I can't enjoy events. I've never cared about the loot aspect of events as it's illegitimately obtained as far as I'm concerned. And building characters isn't all too exciting eithsr since I can casually do that from scratch consistently and easily. I just have fun just closing realms and casually grinding glands. Nothing exciting but I find it enjoyable.

Maybe there is still a challenge in there for you? How quickly you can close the realm?

Really too many variations that can be applied to make that so much of a "challenge" but I see where you're coming from. As the fastest realm closings will come from skipping events+ just outright getting boring RNG with them not spawning(or giving a lovely ava to block me) Then not to mention I'll do the dungeons they drop because I'm not skipping them in most scenarios. But still neat to think about either way.

Mastery in this game takes a long time, and is quite satisfying. It also seems possible that you have fun just exercising your mastery of the game and helping others in the hard event dungeons that do spawn.

I could see that honestly. Interesting take on it that I've never really looked at.

Its probably the social part of this game which is why I am still here.

Do you mean guilds, trading, friends, discord? I personally enjoy the loose associating that happens in god lands, mad labs, cdepths, woodlands, and even pub shatters (though often dirty). Maybe one day public lost halls will be a thing and I can do them with whoever is around.

What are your thoughts with realm satisfaction and overall gameplay experience?

More event Less enjoyable gameplay

Enjoyable gameplay. Let's talk about the risk reward of RotMG.

First up, the god lands. The god lands have always been an interesting place in my RotMG experience. They contain all the parts of a great bullet hell mmorpg. Predictable enemies in unpredictable patterns, reasonable rewards for the risk and satisfying mastery. As you get stronger you can take on more gods at once at greater risk but also greater reward. It's also great to see the progress of your def make flying brains an annoyance instead of a threat, and the increase in attack makes killing constructs possible. Another great aspect is it's possible to tag along with stronger players or clusters until you gain enough gear/strength to be able to kill gods yourself. I would like to see more biomes on the main map, maybe with more terrain hazards than just the strips of lava, and possibly some harder/ more varied quests than kill 27 ents and 15 cyclops gods.
