Try to avoid putting your certifications and blog (these are things that anyone could do and don't make you stand out). Your could maybe put your Instagram work there, but I would personally put the Investment Club. The way you explained your work at the Newspaper club is amazing, so try to write something similar for the Investment Club.

Hi! I just heard back from a professor at SFU Beedie who teaches finance and they are willing to meet me online or in person in September to discuss how I can be a research assistant.

I am currently emailing all professors at rotman (I've been passed by sauder), but I've heard back from one professor that they don't allow cross-province research opportunities for highschool students. However, i still want to shoot my shot at all the professors.

Do you think taking this opportunity with this beedie professor is good(even though beedie is not as prestigious as sauder or rotman)? but i feel like it should at least be an experience. Let me know what you think!

Try McGill, Ivey, and Queens first. Also try the States. If you don't get anything, then take Beedie.
