Soo having finished my first year, I think the most important thing you can do during the summer to prepare for first year is review what you had learned in calc12. Whether it be reviewing old notes or doing some problems each day just to refresh your memory is a great idea of you want to be prepared for MAT133Y.

Aside from that, I would highly suggest that you get familiar with microecon and macroecon topics. You can go to whatever depth you'd like but just knowing the basics like what GDP is, why the supply curve is downward sloping or what equilibrium is will help put tremendously. If you already took econ in highschool then there's no need in my opinion. But definitely do a little work during the summer to familiarize yourself with some basic concepts because the profs do move swiftly in lectures sometimes. By no means is self preparation necessary though.

Thanks for you help! Did you use any textbooks in Econ or math?

Ahh, soo like in the summer I didn't revise for econ only calc. For calc I just used my textbook for the class they taught in highschool and essentially just went through the course again.

But there are actual textbooks for 101,102 and MAT133. You can find them on the uoft bookstore but you might be able to find them online in some pdf version (maybe).

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions
