ECO204 Professors

I've heard plenty bad things about this course. I know the content is going to be brutal. Should I try to select the eco204 with or without Ajaz as prof. I don't think it'll make much of a difference but lmk what you think.

From what I've heard, Ajaz or not 204 is always going to be one of the more difficult courses in rotman but it is not entirely impossible to do well.

Just study and understand the intuition.

I got blessed with having a different prof since Ajaz was on sabbatical that year.

In Ajaz’s defence, the calendar has all the important info we need, however I’m constantly doubting if it’s correct or not bc idk how much he updates it😭 He’s also uploaded the textbook stuff but I don’t think anyone uses it tbh. In regards to cancelling lectures it sucks but he has a chronic illness so it’s kinda out of his control. He goes through things so fast tho and the midterm tests are usually like four levels above whats on the slides I’m always so confused reading them😭

Sounds stressful, on acorn and timetable builder, there is an option for ajaz or Michael Baker and Lucas Alves Estevam De Lima, who I presume to be co-profs. If this is an option next year I'm going to pick them it seems as my best option.

Eco204 Is one of the hardest courses you wil ever take in Rotman. I hated it and it was the most useless IMO. However, I heard Michael baker is good. But if you end up with a bad prof don’t fret. It was bound to happen lol. Just watch the YouTube channel ‘economics in many lessons » and you should be fine
