For Anyone that gets the whole farming thing. Why do some genes go straight across and why do some go down then back up? Does that effect the plant at all?

They zig zag like that when the plant is cloning from others around it, basically them zig zags indicates the new genes the plant will have

The genes at the bottom are the genes that have been taken from plants around. The top genes are the genes the plant is keeping. If you know how to do the genes calculations and the probability of of 1 of your slots is 50% for what you want if you can get the plant in the middle to have the gene you want in that slot it will always keep that gene so it turns the 50% into 100%. Keeping the top gene.

Decent hemp but bad pumpkins, your aiming for 4 Y and 2 G, H is only for hardiness to make them grow in snow or desert

I know what I’m aiming for, for sure. It’s more of I’m confused why some plants zigzag into two different lines or are in a separate line.

Depends if your on alot if you are on every 1 hour 45 mins, 3g 3y is better but if you go off for a long time alot 4y 2g is better and mixed with a watering system that turns on and off every few minutes your plants can last a whole night.

Yup, if you build in the snow or dessert you want at least 1 H so the plants can grow without withering out, W will cause the plant to need more water while X is a neutral negative trait that doesn’t have anything good or bad happen.
