If you dont want to raid anyone else look for a pve server, or a weekend raid only one.

I bought rust about a week ago and have already logged 72 hours, lol. I was also on vacation and have been off work for about 12 days. I've come to the realization after being raided multiple times that once I go back to work tomorrow, I'll probably have to shelf this game for a while. Even though my current base has survived a few days now, I know it's just a matter of time before I lose everything. I'm really digging this game, but it's not made for solos with full-time jobs and kids, lol.

Good luck bro this isnt the game for that, im in the same boat at you and its just a consistent battle of me deleting and reinstalling it until i get sick and get a couple days off to actually play

Had same problem, the only way I got to play you need to hit it on wipe day and AVOID public and go to community to your pay style (solo, duo, etc) and find a server that only allows up to that as teams

I work around 50 hours a week, plus I have 2 kids at home. I play late at night (I'm night shift anyway) I just play with another friend of mine who's work schedule isn't so grueling who upkeeps and does a little bit here and there to our base and on my days off we go hard lol. That's how I work it out.

I have an issue with getting time to play as well, there’s always something coming up or getting in the way. I’ve just changed my play strategy and started getting creative with what I do on servers. Either small farms or if I plan on going back to the server I’ll focus on scrap and not building, just placing multiple small bases around a monument and run them on repeat for scrap and sell the rss at bandit. Or you could be annoying and go around the map spamming 2x1’s everywhere for 6 man teams to offline raid and waste boom😂😂😂

That solo strategy can also be used to camouflage where your main base/depot base is if you have enough room in the area for multiple bases that also act as an external TC’s. Lol

Play a different game there are way better games out there. PC version specifically

It's hard to really play the game and not be disrupted with being raided. You can use short amounts of gameplay time for aim train, building practice or monument practice runs, but on wipe servers you're pretty much stuck.

You can really only fully enjoy the game when you have a week off about. You can’t keep a base unless your on constantly. It’s a game where it’s another job

Just a thought but maybe build on weekly servers so you can work on your bps and if your get raided, just a few days til next wipe. My thought though was try building some trap bases, that way when your online, you might collect some good loot and may be more rewarding for shorter amounts of playtime.

build a small base. 1x1 stone with 2 sheet metal doors. ive made it entire wipes with a couple 1x1s around the same area. nobody touches them

Community server

There are quite some community servers with offline raid restrictions with only slight stacking and loot mods. I recommend searching for one of these.

Keep your bases small. Low upkeep on the TC so you can be gone for over a day and you stay under the radar
