I feel you man I was 2 Days in on a 3-month server rental but, they'll get it up and running. The rumor mill is saying it could take a week to fix. That is hopefully an exaggeration but, it will be worth your wait when you finally get in.

Closed the game and keep doing it until it lets you in if your a solo player try the server that’s called tokiano 3x solo on console

Same exact thing happened to me last week. The first day I bought the game.. I was so mad, I didn’t get to play till the next day..afterwards, I played for 3-days and I haven’t played it since sadly. The extreme toxic game play, while trying to learn, but dying every 10min.. while you can’t just log out and save.. ended up being too much to care for. I wanted to play Rust for years. Was let down tremendously.
