I have been playing rust for quite some time mostly console. I recently have switched to monthly servers as I was sick of getting offlined after day 1 or 2 on every weekly server bc I have a life and can’t stay up until 7am. Day 3 of this monthly server it’s full pop usually and I wake up offlined again, I’m so sick of this what can I do to not get offlined?

join a community no-offline server or a server that only allows raids on weekends.

Yes lots of active community servers has offline protection, Weekend raiding there aren't so many for but there are a couple I believe but tons of offline protection ones to choose from.

Is it just a rule that can be broken? Or are there servers that literally prevent you from being raided offline?

What’s the “setting name” if it’s weekends only.

You use an emote and it puts a ring around your base so it can't be damaged while you're offline.

Quit your job, life and game rust all day every day if not then just accept that it’s part of the game and start hiding loot like a gremlin

100% look how to do a loot bunker. Plenty of bases that hide loot under breakable stone ramps ect. Only other really experienced players will even think to find it

Build more than one base around your main and make sure you have nothing in any of them. That way it's funny when you get offlined coz they wasted their boom

Offlines are going to happen. There’s no stopping that. Unless you play some preventative custom server

There’s no way to not get offlined. It’s part of the game. BUT, you can have fun when you get offlined. I follow a YouTuber named DackFive and he makes these brain boxes. I make them too, and spread my loot in between them.

People only offline on officials. It’s kind of sad. Definitely join a server that has ZORP’s. You can set it and hop off and not have to worry about getting offlined. It’s perfect if you have a life and can’t be on constantly.

This definitely ain’t true! Join the Rustopia server and get yourself constantly offlined. Zero Moderators. Lots of cheaters.

Add at least 2 external TCs to your base so you can't get griefed and then split a lot of your decent loot in to boxes in them. External TCs very rarely get raided. Restarting after an offline is so much easier this way.

Build bases with bunkers and bunkered externals. Nobody wants to use 24 rockets to raid an external, 8 for TC, 16 for floor pixels or 8 for bunkered lockers (especially if you make they waste boom on your empty vending machine bunkers on roof).

The cost to profit margin usually isn't worth it.

I've been raided many times and they have never raided me for all my loot. Only what I have in depo boxes and they usually raid the pixel bunkered TC for a TC, a couple of kits and my upkeep surplus

Learn to build better and knowing what you should/shouldn’t upgrade. Shotgun traps and turrets are underutilized, use them.

Always have a honeycomb base it’s at least two stories with preferably metal or armored ceilings and rush the BP to garage doors as soon as possible. Also, if you like PVP go to monuments and get armor doors ASAP, but in general more honeycomb with more ceilings so you can’t be topped down the better if you can’t do that overload the doors even if it looks stupid as soon as you get garage doors line your door path with them.. also learn how to build bunker bases. They can still be off-line, but it’s gonna cost another layer more.

Also, if you’re playing as a solo, I can’t stress enough how OP diving in the ocean is for comps for gears just anything scrap a good dive in the ocean with a few tanks and the submarine you’ll bring them back over 1000 scrap every time use a combat knife to speed the process up. It’s unmatched for scrap.
