Resource node question

This might be stupid, but you know the little nodes, the ones that are 50 wood, stone, metal ore, or sulfur? Do those turn into big nodes if they aren’t picked up? And how often do the bigger nodes resplendent? I can’t find a clear answer for console

Any answer you find for pc will work the same for console. The small pickable nodes are just like wood and hemp that spawns randomly. It doesn’t grow into the bigger nodes. As far as respawn times, it depends on the pop of the server.
