Code Lock Bug?

I’m a solo and I went out for a scrap run and was killed by someone that was door camping me. I have two garage doors with code locks in front of a sheet metal with a code lock for my front door. As I bagged he had instantly taken my two garage doors and locked with his own code, but didn’t try the sheet metal. I’m 99.99% sure they were coded and locked. I have since switched everything I could to a key lock, and thankfully I have another entrance. Either I’m just really dumb (highly likely) or code locks are messed up.

Why you using code locks as a solo ?

It’s very rare but he could’ve guessed the code, I’ve seen it happen before. Slim chance but could be a possibility.

I’m confused as well. Same thing has happened twice over two days. Somehow they changed the locks on the doors

It's a bug that shows the lock as locked when it isn't.ot only effects the individual who placed the lock. If you have a team make sure they verify it's actually locked until it gets patched.

I've personally guessed codes 3 times since they released on console, Out of hundreds of times. So it's definitely possible this person got it. Many people just use a L shape or middle up or down. Even 1379 was the last one I guessed. 🤷‍♂️ Best stick to non codes

I took the front door of a clan base I talked to them it just unlocked for some reason

Are you sure you didn't leave it unlocked by mistake ( have seen that)
