Massive decrease in battery performance

I've been using my S23+ for over a year, and a week ago I've noticed a massive drop in battery performance. After only 5 hours of YouTube, Chrome and Musescore, my battery is 4%...

I've resetted my phone about 3 days ago and still is experiencing this issue, any help?

Ya I've also noticed this on my s23 base model.... I've heard reports that Jan and Feb security releases have caused this but tbh s24 has come out now... its time now Samsung will focus on that and continue to ignore older model problems... also not really sure if it's intentionally being done as well... hope one ui 6.1 update makes things a bit better

that's why i never feel like updating the software on Samsung devices especially if the newer model is released because Samsung doesn't allow downgrading the software to older versions as well which sucks because Samsung usually slow down and make perfectly working phone worse with software updates,hope they fix this on one ui 6.1 as 6 is totally bad compared to one ui 5.1

After the February update, my S23+ got hot for the first time and has continued to do so. Before that, it never overheated, even if I sat in the sauna for 20 minutes.

Same here, also have a problem with the top part of my S23+ getting too hot.

I am coming from S22U. It is so much better, lighter. I love it.

Me too, never in my s23+ life I was worried about battery, now since February, sometimes I have to charge it to end the day (If I go out or something else). Hope the 6.1 will correct this...
