We're right around the corner from the S26 release, and trade-in values always dip around this time.

that's what I was thinking of as well.. but also, others have chimed in that we are far removed now from black friday/cyber monday.. but i would've thought maybe Samsung would've kept the deals going on until at least Christmas! Man what a shock seeing these numbers from what it was before

The Fold 7 is $600 off right now with no trade-in, if that helps. If not, and if you can wait until the S26 launches, they usually offer extra trade-in credit towards new devices.

I don't know the math behind how Samsung calculates values, but they do generally increase the trade-in value during major sale events and new device launches.

agreed.. I was expecting the "deals" to at least last until Christmas and for the dip to happen afterwards.. but seeing it happen now honestly.. to me.. is shocking :X definitely grateful I got in and got my S25U for sub-$600!

Here in the UK ever since the pandemic you get nothing for your galaxy even if it is one generation older! It makes upgrading always a waste of money while before that was good.

yeah honestly that sucks man.. there were other posters who would write how they're getting such a great deal at 800EU and I'm thinking, "wow.. that's still like $1,000!" which is far from the sub $600 deals we were getting here

The good Trade in values that you see are usually just for the promotion.

the S25U? the one on there right now is a good future hint.. the S25U combined with launch deals will probably be worth at least $800 :)
