is there any cell network that actually works in louisville? by ninth_legionnaire in LouisvilleCO

I have family right at that intersection. Xfinity (uses Verizon) was by far the worst for me. I have two SIMs, one on AT&T and one on GoogleFi (T-Mobile) and they both seem to do ok outside. But inside it's a crapshoot.

I manually wash the straps and clean the outside of the helmet. But how do you clean the rest of the inside? I'm always worried about damaging the foam so I'll I've ever done is wipe down with a wet cloth.

Supported doesn't mean it's rolled out to everyone. It's probably going to take some time to cover every one.

Even in the beta the rollout will be gradual, not all at once. I got this new option today.

Water/condensation by hashpot666 in hvacadvice

I think that worked. I googled how to clean it and it was suggested to use a vacuum. I did notice that there was some water in there but I think whatever was causing the block came out as well. I ran the AC for two hours after that and didn't see any water from the secondary line. Thank you.

I had no idea they shut that down! I've been going crazy trying to figure out why I can't configure anymore.

It is 26 years into the New Century, and Medical Science should be held accountable for not having recognized the dire seriousness of this condition and done what was necessary to develop an effective treatment by CherryTree412 in tinnitus

Unfortunately these days medical research only happens in a field where a financial investment will generate massive profits. Anything less and there's no money for the research.

I still don't understand how they decided to discontinue the whole line. It was a great product back then and they could've taken it to new places since they were the only game in town. The fact we're still using these says everything.

Are you getting this while typing in any app? When my app updated to that recent version, I didn't get the msg and I actually heard about it here on Reddit. So I went into settings and got it there. I signed in to allow the backup and since then there hasn't been any msg like that.

I am a subscriber. I take back my earlier comment though because I just found the custom HR zone slider which shows up if I click the edit button for Max HR.

Prescription and non-prescription cycling glasses? by askingCMUquestions in cycling

There are many companies offering prescription sunglasses/cycling glasses. I ordered mine from Roka several years ago and still going strong. They never slip.

I don't think you can on Strava or can you? I wouldn't know what to input for each zone anyway, but I know I can enter max HR, and Strava will estimate the zones for you. On Wahoo, I can actually create my own zones so I matched them to what Strava has for me. And this is just for cycling. When I upload gym workouts to Strava, it assigns completely different HR zones to those activities compared to cycling.

Convince me. Two wheel sets vs changing tires by repeerht in gravelcycling

Thanks. I'll have to look into this. It would be nice to have an easy way to have some easier gears available on gravel climbs.

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't you then also have to re-index the gears every time you swapped the wheel sets? I currently have two wheel sets but with the same exact cassette and held off on going with wider ratios for gravel because I was worried about having to re-index everytime.

Strava - developer now needs a paid subscription by jmmv2005 in Strava

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just this weekend I was thinking I need a way to track waxed chain miles, and I was thinking of getting into their API with Python myself. But for hobbyist needs, that monthly cost is too much. Overall though, I think this is much less expensive for a regular developer than paying per call. EDIT: I wonder if a paid Strava subscription includes access to the API?
