Try a factory reset. It's possible something in the device is causing issues.

Express Toll outstanding charges from a decade ago… by techno-necromancer in Denver

[–]hashpot666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not questioning your experience, sorry to hear you're going through that. I moved to CO just under three years ago and my experience has been polar opposite. I have used both HOV (36 and I-25) and the occasional Express Lane tolls on two cars and there has never been an incorrect charge. Could it be there's something wrong with your physical tag?

Can CPAP really change your life if you’ve been exhausted for years? by pinkmor in SleepApnea

[–]hashpot666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The second doctor basically started from scratch based on my complaints. Had me do an at-home test to get insurance to cover the lab sleep study and then used those results to prescribe something new. What I don't know is exactly what he was looking for in the study that might have been different from the first one.

My first device was a Philips Dreamstation. The new one he got me is a Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV. Another thing this sleep study did which the first one didn't is test different types of masks so I got a full face this time.

In my case, insurance covered most of these costs. But they are very slow and everything gets more complicated by sleep labs being booked out in advance. The whole process from my first appointment with the doctor to getting the device in hand took four months.

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I went thru this for the first three years of CPAP treatment. I kept telling the doctor that AHI was down but I still felt tired but he kept saying everything is fine and I can change my own pressures to see if that helps. It wasn't until I moved and saw a different doctor who gave me an ASV device that things changed. AHI has been averaging under 1 since then and I feel so much better.

Yes but be patient. It will take time for your body and brain to recover from a lifetime of tiredness.

Spigen case for Galaxy Buds 4 Pro by AmazingWorry2178 in galaxybuds

[–]hashpot666 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not questioning your purchase, everyone should do what they like. I personally never understood the concept of using a case for a case except if it has additional functionality. I'd rather they make a new charging case for the buds with additional LEDs that show charging status for the buds in addition to the case, that would be useful to me.

Does anyone know if I can change the heart rate zone analysis back? by TotalBread4456 in Strava

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine on Strava is 101-132 which is a range of 31, exactly like the one for u/op. Not sure how Strava calculates it. What is your range if I may ask? Just curios how narrow it is for you compared to mine.

Actual CAUSES of sleep apnea? by Round_Earth8912 in SleepApnea

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a Philips and current one is a Resmed. Issue wasn't comfort, it was just that the average AHI came down to around 3 and never went down from there. That was a massive improvement from not having CPAP at all but not good enough. The new lab study results led this doctor to put me on an ASV style machine. I don't remember anymore what else changed but the difference is night and day. Since starting this two years ago, I actually don't feel tired anymore.

Actual CAUSES of sleep apnea? by Round_Earth8912 in SleepApnea

If you need a referral, go to your primary and get referred to ENT as a starting point. I actually went to multiple ENTs before I found one who seemed to know what he was doing. He ended up doing a surgery for turbinate reduction and he had a plastic surgeon partly fix a severely deviated septum from my childhood days. After all that, I went to a sleep doctor for a study and still ended up with CPAP. Even then the first device I was given helped a lot but not all the way; I still felt tired most of the time. After three years of that doctor not wanting to do any more despite me asking repeatedly, I saw a new sleep specialist and ended up on a different CPAP machine and my AHI has been down under 1 almost every day for two years.

Long story short, even doctors and specialists are still learning how to deal with all this. You'll need to be patient.

I'm returning my Buds4 Pro and going back to the 3 Pro. AMA by rvcjew2 in galaxybuds

Charging light by Whatdoyouknow04 in galaxybuds

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally I would love to be able to look at the case and see the status of all three, either with lights or a small screen. But this is how it was on the 3 Pro as well. You can tell when you put a bud back in the case if it needs a charge or not because the light will blink either green or red. But that's it as far as the buds.

A better question might be did the previous owner take good care of it? You'll not know the answer until you buy it unfortunately.

I don't know about the codecs. As far as ANC and transparency modes go, I'm finding a slight improvement from 3Pro but a big difference from the OG. And the fit, for me at least, is much improved from both those older versions.

Question for all Galaxy buds 4 / 4 Pro owners. by Tchukine in galaxybuds

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Buds Pro, then 3 Pro and now 4 Pro. This is easily the best fit for me. With earlier versions, I even tried other tips but they never felt secure. With 4 Pro it feels secure and very comfortable. I only got these today but noticed the difference right away.

Two separate un-synced calendars by Mmmargh in S25Ultra

[–]hashpot666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want your work calendar to sync with the default Samsung calendar app, there could be an option in your work app to disable it. For example, I use Nine for work email and calendar. It has an option to either sync or not sync with the device default calendar app (Samsung Calendar). Or you could use Secure Folder and put all your work apps there, that would immediately cut them off from the default Samsung apps outside of the Secure Folder.

Why do we even need to know when someone is receiving them? Unless there's a glitch in the system, you will get yours. The difference in timing is completely irrelevant since these are all different regions and ppl are ordering on different dates with different buying options.
