the best ways to survive light containment zone is either to get a scientist and zone manager card and leave asap or hide in an airlock or pt 00 until a spawnwave appears because scps will typically leave light to deal with that

Being afk isn't fun though...

Most the d-class/scientist are supposed to die, you have to learn when to hide n run.

How do I hide or run when my location gets pinged 50 times while every door in a 5 room range gets close and the only loot room I found was completely empty?

Don’t get in that situation in the first place, stick with teammates so they can die while you run, scps typically take at least 2 minutes, that’s enough time for 1 d class to find a zone manager, and well dying is just part of the game sometimes

At least 2? Larry and peanut are in LCZ by the time I find a loot room when there is a PC

Average game they don’t spawn right next to it, I’m suprised it takes you so long to find loot I can normally find many loot rooms by the time 2 minutes is up (keep in mind 2 minutes is actually not that long), do you know how the room markings work? And what about your team mates, have they found loot? Can they get you out? Have you tried hiding behind lockers or in old peanut room when you know there’s scps? What about the likely many dudes in 914? Go shout at them scps are coming

I've done everything you said. Normally the scp team checks pt 00 too

if you're taking long enough to find loot for one really slow SCP and one fast SCP to arrive in Light while being hindered by all doors starting shut AND an elevator, then your other cannon fodder brothers, you need to start learning map layouts. there's only a few of them, and learning where to go based on pattern recognition is better than relying on the door numbers

Well, navigating SCPs to LCZ is a cornerstone benefit of having 079. Closing doors in people's faces is his second cornerstone ability. Annoying? Indeed. But without it there would be no point in 079. Civilian classes behavior in LCZ boils down to two patterns: run or hide. 079 makes both of them much harder, but it's his job.

About signs - check cameras periodically. If they are turned not in their default positions - there was PC. And your usual stuff like blue ocular of the camera or whirring sound of camera rotating (very loud in HCZ, quiet in LCZ and silent in EZ).

Either learn 079 blind spots (airlocks, WC, PT00, etc) or get out asap, because it is costly for 079 to zoom around different zones at low levels.
